My Experience with NYX Prague Soft Matte Lip Cream
Unlike the nude shades of Nyx, Prague doesn’t settle for subtle look. It makes you look runway ready. No kidding! This pink color looks good on every skin tone. They have a brilliant satiny matte finish and are much much softer and creamier than most matte finish lip colors. They do dry up your lips but not as much as other matte lip colors. They can last for 6 hours without much fading if you avoid eating or drinking much. It’s super affordable and easily available. It doesn’t have any particular smell and comes with an applicator. The texture is very smooth and glides easily over the lips. It takes around 20 mins to dry up. My suggestion is that you avoid eating or drinking at least 30 mins after applying it.
Overall Performance of NYX Prague Soft Matte Lip Cream
I really like Copenhagen lip cream shade of Nyx. But this totally won me over. I would say this particular shade is a must have. It’s smooth and glides easily over the lips and surprisingly not much drying. Some shades look all dried up after sometime, especially the nudes but not this one. However if you rub your lips hard it might even chip off. But this might happen like 3 to 4 hours after application if you are in an air conditioned room and your skin is naturally dry. You can rectify it by using a chapstick before applying the lip cream. Otherwise it’s perfect. I have the pack of all the three shades: Prague, Copenhagen and Transylvania and Prague are undoubtedly my favorite. Considering the price and availability it’s a great bargain even comparable to Mac and Kylie lip kit shades.
Would I recommend?
If you are a Nyx fan you would love this, it’s perfect for beginners and dabblers who wish to explore affordable good quality makeup. This little item has the potential to make you look like a million bucks. You can team it up with casuals, formal or even party look and still nail it. Take my word for it and give it a shot.
