NYX Eyeshadow Pigments Walnut And White Pearl Review

by Smriti S

NYX Eyeshadow Pigment Walnut: Eyeshadows are so eye-catching, right? They have the ability to transform any look into a completely royal, subtle and sexy one. That is the power of eyeshadow pigments. Eyeshadows come in various types. They come in palettes, in single, double, triple or even more combo shades. Some come as loose pigments, some come as crème eyeshadows and the list just goes on. I haven’t tried the crème eyeshadows and I am curious as well. But today, I will be reviewing two of the NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow, one shade is “walnut”, and the other shade is “white pearl”.

How to use

Firstly, dab a little amount of eyeshadow primer and then blend it. After that, use an eyeshadow brush and take a tiny amount of the product, apply on the eyelid and blend. If the product is not sufficient, pick some more and blend. If you are not comfortable with the idea of powdered eyeshadow, mix water or rosewater with the eyeshadow and apply.

My experience with NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow Pigment  Walnut And White Pearl

Packaging

It comes in a very cute, small bottle, which has a cap. Opening the cap will expose the loose pearl eyeshadow. The bottle is transparent, hence the color can be seen from outside as well. The opening of the bottle is small to control the quantity of the product that comes out.

Color and texture

I will be reviewing the shades “walnut” and “white pearl”

Fragrance

It has no kind of fragrance

Experience

Only recently, I have started using eyeshadows and I came across these loose pearl eyeshadow pigments. I got these in 4 colors(here I am reviewing 2 only). The best part is that I got it on a sale. Initially, I used it without eyeshadow primer and I was not so happy since I had heard a lot of hype about the product even though it is a drug-store brand which means it is affordable yet amazing. But then, I thought of using a primer and used it by mixing the powder with water and it stayed for 8 hours plus. That is when I realized the beauty of this product. And I fell in love with it. Also, these products can be used as highlighters and as blushes as well. I have seen many people do their whole face makeup using just the NYX loose pearl eyeshadows. (amazing right?!) these shades can be used during the morning as well as evenings or night time. It comes in 30 different shades which means they can be used by people who have different skin tones. So girls, if you are a starter or a professional makeup artist, this is the right product for you and your clients. It can be used for bridal as well since there are many bright shades here. Go ahead and binge.

Would I repurchase or recommend?

YES, I definitely recommend this product and would definitely buy other shades in this since I love the color pay off of this product. The only basic pre-requisite is that an eyeshadow primer is a must to get the perfect look. There are other eyeshadows but this is one of the best with respect to all, price, quality and quantity.
