My experience with NYX Intense Butter Gloss Apple Crisp

 

 

Packaging:

The packaging is very cute and pretty. It comes with a gunmetal metallic cap and the body is of the same color as of the butter gloss and the shade name is at the bottom. It comes with a doe foot applicator. It is compact to sit in your purse to carry around and be party ready on the go.
This is my favorite shade from the Nyx Intense Butter Gloss range and needless to mention it is a Red shade!!

Directions to use:

Apply a lip balm on your lips to hydrate them and then swipe the lip color from the middle of your lip to the end of the lip. Remember to cover the edges of the lips. Also clean the edges or the outline of the lips after applying the gloss, preventing any possible immediate feathering.

Shade and Texture:

My love for Red lips drew me to this shade. It is an out and out red with slight pink undertones making it even more pretty. Although it is a gloss, it is highly pigmented and shows up true to its color on the lips in a single swipe. It glides on very easily on the lips. It is very soft in texture making it very comfortable on the lips. Also it gives a nice smooth and even finish to the lips. The lipstick smells like yummy strawberry jam 😉

Overall Performance of NYX Intense Butter Gloss Apple Crisp

 

 

This would flatter all the skin tones and would complement the dusky skin tones really well. It instantly brightens up the face. It would be best to use kohl Kajal along with this lipstick to complete a simple yet beautiful look.
It will suit all occasions perfectly as it is neither too subtle nor too loud. It would be best complimented with a simple eye makeup and loads of mascara to flutter those beautiful eyes. It totally changes your makeup game and suits all occasions effortlessly.
Move over the lipsticks and try this intense butter gloss at your next party. Pout your best with this glossy red lip. It looks really flattering in photographs as well.

Staying Power:

The staying power is quite good for this lipstick. It is not at all like a lip gloss when it comes to the staying power. It stays put for at least 4 to 5 hours unless heavy meals are taken. It survives drinks and small meals perfectly. With that said, it does transfer a little when you eat or drink something heavy, but it still leaves a beautiful stain on your lips.

Use a lip balm after the lipstick fades out and leaves the stain. It gives a nice finish and completely brings back the color to your lips.

Try using any lip liner in a cherry red shade to complement the lipstick and also make it long lasting.

Would I recommend it?

Oh Ya! I will definitely recommend this shade and it is totally worth the price.

As it is said, you can’t stop with one lipstick, so go on and try the Napoleon shade which is a pinkish nude and also the Funnel Delight shade which is a pretty cupcake fuchsia as well from this range, they are truly amazing.
