NYX products are ruling my heart. They are super cute and affordable as well. They have butter glosses that come in various shades which can be used over a lipstick or just by itself. Today I will be reviewing the third such  NYX butter gloss from my collection with the shade name NYX strawberry parfait. What is it?

NYX butter gloss is a lip gloss that can be used all by itself or over a lipstick for that extra boost of color. It is lightweight, buttery soft and velvety smooth. This scrumptious gloss will make your lips look absolutely luscious which gives sheer to medium coverage that melts onto your lips and will never be sticky. It won’t dry out your lips and keeps them soft and hydrated.

Packaging

The packaging is decent and handy. The name of the shade is written on the bottom of the packaging and the pack itself is in the color of the butter gloss. This makes it easy to choose whichever color you want from your Lippe collection when you are in a hassle.

Color and Texture

It has a smooth, creamy texture which glides easily on the lips. The name of the shade is strawberry parfait, but it is not red, it is a very cute pink that can be used by anyone.

How to use

Open the cap to reveal the applicator. Glide on the lips and build the color however required

Fragrance

It smells like choco-caramel cookies. It’s difficult to resist the smell.

My experience

I have many lip glosses and butter glosses from Nyx are my new favorites these days. They come in a wide spectrum of colors Which suits everyone from kids to adults. I have reviewed two colors devil’s food cake and vanilla cream pie. They fared really well for me so I was very sure while buying this one. This shade is a darker pink, not a bubblegum pink. Because of this reason, it can be used during any time and by anyone. It doesn’t stick or attract dirt. Other observations apart from this are – it doesn’t feather or irritate the lips. It doesn’t bleed as well and moisturizes dry, chapped lips and imparts color which looks extremely natural. The best part? It hasn’t been tested on animals and is pretty affordable too. Apart from these, the shade on the body of the lip balm shows the shade of the lip gloss. This helps in hassle-free selection of lip gloss and it’s application. And the applicator is very comfortable. It glides easily on the contour of the lips and settles comfortably. In all, the product is definitely worth the price and stays for a good 3 to 5 hours depending on the skin type and food. It definitely transfers to an extent and fades after heavy meals but for the price, this is a steal. So girls, go ahead and buy this. Happy shopping
