I hope you all are having as much fun of this spring season as I am. Today I am going to review one of the new products in the line of eye makeup. It’s the NYKAA Rock the line KAJAL, as we all know Nykaa is coming out with a lot of beauty products of its own, so I thought of giving it a try.

My Experience with Nykaa Rock the Line Kajal

The Kajal comes in a very pretty pink packaging and the pen is also of pink color (yeah for that coz pink is my favorite color) plus the name “Rock the line” sound so appealing that I couldn’t resist myself from buying it. Now I don’t have the whole package of the Kajal but I’m going to add a picture of it for you guys.

The pen is twist-up one, which retracts backs in the place easily. Now coming to the color payoff, in a single stroke, it gives dense black color. I have used it on both my lash line and water line. On lash line, it glides on smoothly without any problem and on water line too. In the terms of smoothness, I’d say it worked for me better than any other Kajal I’ve used so far. It goes on smoothly but in a firm way.

About the claims, yes it is waterproof and transfers proof but it smudges easily which is a bad thing and a good thing both( for a beginner like me, when I try to make a winged eyeliner with it and I do it wrong, I just smudge it off easily and try again).

 

The only issue I have faced with this product is that when I take my makeup off the day I’m wearing it on my eyes, my eyes turn red and a little bit itchy after removing it. I am not sure if it is the face wash I’m using currently or it’s the Kajal itself. Mostly, I feel it’s the Kajal.

Overall Performance of Nykaa Rock the Line Kajal

Pros:

• Excellent color payoff
• Waterproof
• Transfer proof
• Affordable
• Attractive packaging

Cons:

• Not totally smudge-proof
• Makes my eyes itchy and red.
• Not suitable for sensitive eyes

Would I recommend or repurchase it?

I don’t think I am going to repurchase it or recommend it to anyone else in spite of all the good factors because of the reaction I have on eyes every time I use it.
