My Experience with Nykaa Gloss It Up Love Bug
This gloss comes in a transparent plastic pack with applicator wand attached to the lid. The packaging allows the shade to be visible from outside which is a plus point. The packaging is sturdy and travel safe.
Shade, Pigmentation & Texture
Love Bug is a bright tomato red shade. The pigmentation is excellent so the shade gives full coverage to my medium pigmented lips. It is a creamy and thick gloss; not like those watery gloss tints.
It has low-to-moderate berry fragrance. Almost all of Nykaa’s lip products across all ranges (liquids, mattes etc.) have similar fragrance. The smell does not stay for more than a few minutes.
Ease of Application
The best way to apply this gloss is by using the applicator wand that comes with it. Then you can mix it up a little by pursing your lips or dabbing with fingertips.
The product gives the true color on my lips in a single swipe. I don’t even need to dip the wand more than once in the bottle. It gives even finish to the lips without patchiness.
I was looking for a good red lip gloss as I don’t like to go matte on the lips all the time. The red shade goes well with almost all traditional attires of my wardrobe. Finally, my search ended on this Nykaa one. The packaging looks very similar to Smashbox liquid lipsticks. The shade gives a bright liveliness to the face which I adore. The lips remain moist and look plump.

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
4ml is a good amount for a gloss with a high color pay-off. So, I will need some time to finish it off. Meanwhile, I would try out the other shades from the same range. If you are looking for a red gloss then this one might be it!
