Now we can easily find brow pomades, brow pencils, crayons and what not! The price range is quite wide as well, so there are options for budget-friendly makeup lovers and of course deluxe makeup lovers. Among all the forms of brow enhancers, dual-ended eyebrow pencil with a pencil in one end and spoolie on the other end is my favorite. This type of eye brow pencil is like an all-in-1 product for the brows. If you have it, you don’t need any other equipment for brow defining. Today I am reviewing Nykaa Brow Chika WOW Eyebrow Pencil Coven Cocoa 01. This is a new addition to Nykaa’s in-house makeup brand. Let’s read on to know how this pencil actually is.

What is it?

Nykaa Brow Chika Wow Eyebrow Pencil is an eyebrow enhancer for super-easy filling and shaping the brows. This pencil has a glide-on, lightweight formula that helps to shape brow arches quickly. The built-in spoolie-brush shapes the brows and gives them definition, while the super long-lasting and smudge-proof formula holds the brow for up to 8 hours.

My Experience with Nykaa Brow Chika WOW Eyebrow Pencil Coven Cocoa 01

Packaging- This eye brow pencil is basically a wooden pencil in a shareable form. The pencil is thick enough for a better grip. The tip is secured by a brown plastic cap. At the end of the pencil, a spoolieis attached to comb the brow. The pencil comes in a bright red-pink cardboard packaging. Overall the eyebrow pencil is very conveniently shaped and packaged; it is indeed a travel-safe and user-friendly product.

Shade, Pigmentation & Texture- The shade Coven Cocoa 01 is cool brown in color. The shade blends well with my dark natural brown hair. The pigmentation is awesome. Though the color is buildable, one swipe is enough for both filling and shaping in my case. The pigmentation makes me say, this product will perfect for dark brown hair; you need to be very careful if your brow hair is on the blond side. The texture is very creamy, so the tint spreads if blended with fingers or even spoolie.

Longevity- In this wintry weather, the staying power is 7+ hours for me just as mentioned in the claims. But, the creamy texture may lead to melting in humid weather. This eye swatch has been clicked after 6 hours of application. You can easily see that the eye brow tint has not budged a bit while the kajal has started smudging and eye shadow started fading.

Fragrance- This is a fragrance-free product.

Experience- I have been using Maybelline’s Fashion Brow Cream Pencil before buying this and the cream pencil was a good find under Rs.200. This product comes for double the price so my expectation was quite high for this brow pencil. I am really happy to declare, this product has impressed me. Firstly, the application is much easier with it as there is a spooley. I just have to fill my brows and comb with the spoolie to finish my brow look. The tint is very creamy so spreads easily. The Maybelline one settles into a matte finish but this stays creamy matte. For my dark brow, I can create a light everyday look as well as bold dramatic look. But for my mom’s fine and light brown brow hair this one looks too dramatic if she applies just a tiny bit extra. I think Nykaa should widen the shade range.

Yes, absolutely! Nykaa Brow Chika WOW Eyebrow Pencil Coven Cocoa 01 is a great quality brow enhancer for naturally dark Indian brows. I am definitely buying this again and will recommend to everyone with dark brows as well.
