My experience with Nykaa BlendMaster All-rounder Makeup Blender Sponge
Packaging:
The BlendMaster comes seated on a black cardboard box. And the whole thing is in a transparent plastic box. The box is easy to carry around but is difficult to store the beauty blender in the box especially when the sponge is wet.
Color:
I got my makeup blender sponge in color pink. They are available in great colors like yellow, baby pink, purple and green.
Texture:
The sponge is stiff and soft when dry. The beauty blender has a drop like a shape which makes it convenient for all curves on our face and under eyes.
My Experience:
The day I bought this makeup sponge, I am obsessed with this. I literally use everything with this sponge on my face from moisturizer or sometimes for patting toner. This beauty blender works great for applying foundation and concealer. I was previously using a normal brush to apply the foundation which results increasing many times. But, after using this sponge for blending/ dabbing my foundation blends well and the finish is very natural and doesn’t look like we have another layer on our face.
How do I use?
The makeup sponge needs to get damped before use simply because when we will use it without damping or dry it will soak in more product and doesn’t freely gets blended on skin because of its stiff texture.
On the other hand, if we will damp it a little and then use, it will soak in less product and easily blends in into the skin.
So, before applying foundation, I wet the sponge and squeeze the access water by pressing it. We need it damped not wet. After damping, the sponge increase in size and becomes more soft and compressible.
This sponge works great when blending liquid products, but I also use it for baking my face. The sponge takes more product than a brush. After drying, the blender sponge comes in its previous size.
