Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion Review

I am on the verge of finishing this Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion, so the time is ripe to send in my review. My husband is not into skin care at all, but one thing that concerns him is dry skin. This lotion looked little appealing to him (I think must be the blue font 😛 ) and he got into using this every day. Using it up for 2-3 months, both of us together have managed to finish it up.

No prizes for guessing why I bought this! 😛 Express” yes, I am a mom to a 5-year-old girl and moisturizing can sometimes be the last on my priority list. Hence, I am always looking for lotions that would be absorbed in a jiffy, I like to moisturize in a minute post bath and another minute before bedtime, and so does this pass my jiffy test? Take a look

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion Review

What is it and who is it for?

An “Express” i.e. fast hydrating body lotion, for hydration on the go!

Price:

Rs 265 for 400 ml

How to Use:

Apply on cleansed and dry skin. Reapply as often as desired.

My Experience with Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion:

Packaging :

The lotion is a pump style and I have to have a pump as to moisturize on the go.  I keep it on my dresser to use on the hands during the day as well, yes, despite having a ton of hand creams.

Texture :

The lotion feels mild, not at all greasy and the bottle is sturdy enough, I love the fact that it leaves no oily residue, but still softness on the skin after you are done. This does not really get absorbed in ten seconds and leaves a layer on the skin, but it takes up to 30 seconds of rubbing and leaves you with uber-soft skin sans the grease. You would feel moisturized and still not have to worry about grease, the skin feels supple and nourished.

Effectiveness

Coming to the lasting part, you will need to use it twice daily, my skin type is normal to dry and I am very okay to use it twice. If you are looking for a heavy duty thicker coating of lotion, for elbows or knees, then this is not for you. If you have normal skin, with no extremely dry problem areas, this can moisturize you in a minute for the next half of the day for sure.

Fragrance

The lotion has a mild soapy smell, which is not at all bothersome. I like the fact that is free from animal-derived ingredients. It comes close to the fast absorption, deep moisture, and lasting feel claim, so yes, this can be you next lotion if you have normal to the slightly dry skin.

Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?

This is a pretty decent product. If you have oily skin or do not mind reapplying the lotion every once in a while this lotion has got you covered. I would recommend it as a budget buy, especially for busy ladies 😉
