by Sreeparna Ganguly

Nivea Aloe Body Cream Refreshing Moisturiser  : Body Butters are not a new concept in deluxe skincare arena but until recent past, there were very few body butter available in the budget-friendly zone. My today’s review is a body butter that cost me not even Rs.100. Can you imagine! Well, the dream of having a good quality body butter in our vanity has been transformed into reality by none other than Nivea! Actuality in this review I will present my views of Nivea Aloe Body Cream Refreshing Moisturiser. This body moisturizer is one of the new launches from Nivea after their Fruity Lip balm. Nivea’s blue tint crème is a fabulous product that gets praises from the entire world. Nivea’s other moisturizers have also been able to win my heart. Now, this is the turn for their Aloe Body Cream to sit in my testing table. Here goes the review!

Nivea Aloe Body Cream Refreshing Moisturiser

Price- Rs.90 for 50ml

My Experience with Nivea Aloe Body Cream Refreshing Moisturiser

Packaging- This body butter comes in a white plastic tub. Most of the body butter are packed in tubs so there is nothing new in it. But, this small tub is very travel-friendly unlike the bulky ones containing too much product. The packaging mentions all the necessary information regarding the product inside, There is complete ingredient list, usage direction and a diagrammatic representation of the main ingredient; aloe vera. This body butter is available in two sizes which again I find really nice because the user is at liberty to invest in a bulky tub for everyday home use or small tub for travel purpose.

Colour & Texture- The body cream is pure white in color and its consistency is medium. It gets spread easily and gets absorbed pretty fast. The consistency is perfect for every season if you have normal skin. It does not make my skin stretchy for at least 4-5 hours in this tremendous cold and windy weather.

Fragrance- There is light aloe vera fragrance in this cream. The fragrance did not seem flattering to my senses as I am not a fan of aloe fragrance. The smell does not linger too much. If you wear clothes immediately after applying this cream to your skin then the smell will stay more but otherwise the fragrance goes off in an hour or so.

Experience- This body butter is one of the best lightweight body butter. It supples up my skin and that too without any oily residue. The formula is non-sticky which is again a nice thing for me. I generally apply it after a bath when my skin is slightly damp. It locks the moisture and my skin does not feel stretchy for considerate time. This product is very mild on skin. It does not give my annoying body acne. I wish Nivea would come up with better fragrance and paraben-free formulation. This body butter can substitute the regular body lotions.
