From a couple of days, I have been knowing all important and interesting facts of LA. First of all, the sun here reflects more ultra violet rays than it does in India. Thus, application of sunscreen is mandatory here and wearing sunglasses and a hat is also very very important.

From the sunscreens I filtered to apply here, I found out that those ones having SPF value more than 50 only work here to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays. Thus, I bought the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunscreen. Other brands are also available here but since this brand is known to us, I opted for this. I shall now let you know about some of the details of this product.

My experience with Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 60+

Packaging- the packaging of the product is in the form of a tube, very attractive and white in color. The mass is slightly viscous and must be applied in smaller amounts on the skin. The cap is a flip open cap and there is an outlet for the sunscreen to drop onto your hands.

How to use- to use the sunscreen, follow the following steps-

1. Apply the sunscreen generously and evenly 15 minutes prior to sun exposure
2. Reapply it after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, or immediately after towel drying
3. You must reapply it for at least every 2 hours, for optimal results

Staying power- this supports a broad spectrum of sun rays, and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes.

This sunscreen has become my favorite. According to sources, other natural brands do not manufacture ones with greater SPF value, since they will have to add some chemicals to it to increase the SPF value. Beating on that point, this brand has made this sunscreen from 100% naturally sourced sunscreen ingredients, making it capable of being water resistant for up to 80 minutes. You can also apply this and swim.

• You limit yourself from exposing yourself to the sun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Wear long-sleeved shirts and prevent direct exposure of your skin to the sun.
