My experience with the MUA Luxe London Velvet Lip Lacquer Atomic

I wanted to try some different shades so, I bought this MUA LUXE LONDON VELVET LIP LACQUER in the shade atomic. I have a little wheatish complexion so I was a little suspicious about how the shade would look on me. I glide up the lipstick over my lips. It was quite smooth to apply which is great. The lipstick has no smell at all which is a plus point as some people don’t like many fragranced lippies. I found that the shade looks like a neon orange with a light tint of neon red. Since I have a little pigmentation on my lips the shade didn’t suit me at all. I was kinda upset about the fact as it is not the really versatile shade that will suit all the types of complexions. I would recommend the people who have really fair complexion and zero pigmentation can go for this one. The lipstick is highly pigmented so there is no need to reapply it every time. It stays for quite long.

The lipstick dries up very quickly and gives a really great matte finish. So, this is the perfect choice for the matte lipstick lovers. it has kiss proof formula which I found really satisfying.

Tip: just apply little lip balm before applying the lipstick as it will dry up your lips quite a lot.

About the packaging

It comes in a really good looking matte finish bottle. Quite easy to carry with you anywhere. The packaging is really good. The wand is quite smooth and feels great on the lips when applying the lipstick. It is really smooth and easy to apply.

Would I recommend?

This lipstick is a great choice for those who love the matte finish. Those who have a little dark or pigmented skin must go for another shade to get the perfect matte effect. Those having fair skin tones with no pigmentation must go for this one. It doesn’t give a glossy finish so gloss lovers stay back. Since the shade is not really versatile I would recommend going for the lipstick only when you’re sure about the shade will look great on you. I would love to buy the MUA LUXE LONDON VELVET LIP LACQUER but in a different shade.
