Maybelline Enduring Ruby Lipstick :Hello all. Today I am here to review yet another Maybelline lipstick from the super stay 14-hour range. The shade I will review is Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hour Lipstick Enduring Ruby. Read on to know more details about this lipstick and how it fared for me.

For a perfect lip shape: start in the middle of the lips, smoothing out to the corners of the mouth.

My experience with Maybelline Enduring Ruby Lipstick

Packaging

It comes in a bullet type container with a white cap and the lipstick shade showing up on the bottom half of the packaging. It has a twist up mechanism and the cap sits perfectly on the bottom making it ideal for travels

Colour and texture

The name of the shade is “enduring ruby”. It has a soft, easy to apply kind of texture and settles into a matte finish. It is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips

Fragrance

It has a fruity smell which sometimes is suffocating

Experience

I purchased this after much research and swatching various shades. I purchased the shade “enduring ruby” which is a pinkish red shade that is not too light, not too dark. It is an everyday kind of shade. Now, to the product experience – It is very soft and light-weight, it applies easily and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. It settles into a matte finish soon. It covers the pigmented parts on the lips. It has faint bits of shimmer in it which you can’t see unless you observe very keenly. It stays for a good 7 to 9 hours with little fading due to meals and drink. It might feather out if you haven’t exfoliated and moisturized your lips properly, it doesn’t transfer or smudge. But the ingredient list is not at all mentioned on the packaging and the fruity fragrance is sort of a turn-off. Given all this, for the price, this is a steal with all its salient features (also it is on offer in Nykaa currently). So go ahead and grab the shade you want!

Glossypolish verdict: The Maybelline super stay 14-hour lipstick stays on the lips for a good 7 to 9 hours with little fading and feathering. But, chapped lips beauties need to mandatorily apply a lip balm and then used this product.
