Hey, Girls! I am back again with yet another lipstick review. This one is from the Rebel Bouquet collection of Maybelline. This range is the second lipstick range that I have tried from the house of Maybelline after the Color Show range. Today I am reviewing the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks in the shades REB01, REB02 and REB04.

It is priced at 475 INR for 3.9g of the product. It is currently on sale at 380 INR on Nykaa.

My experience with Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks REB01, REB02 and REB04
Packaging:
The packaging is very simple. It comes in a silver packaging along with a reddish orange semi opaque cap. The shade name is written at the bottom of the lipstick. It is similar to the Color Sensational collection of Maybelline.
Directions to use:
Start by prepping your lips using a moisturizer. Then start applying the lipstick from the middle of the lips and move towards the end. You can also apply it using a lip brush. Since this is a fairly creamy lipstick, a lip balm is not compulsory except for heavily chapped lips.
Shade and Texture:
The texture is moderately creamy and does not dry the lips. These lipsticks are semi sheer and need little layering to get the perfect pigmentation. Using the apt lip liners also will give the correct look. The shade REB01 is a subtle Red with a brownish orange undertone. This shade would suit the warm toned beauties very well. This is a good choice for every red lip lover. Using a red or neutral lip liner will give best results making the color of the lipstick show up really well. The shade REB02 is a nice subtle Pink with slight red undertones. This shade although is a slightly warm shade, it looks good on every skin tone. Using a rosy pink lip liner gives the perfect pretty pink lip. The shade REB04 is a nice subtle Coral with slight red undertones. This shade as well looks good on all skin tones. Using a cherry red lip liner gives you that perfectly wearable coral pout.
Overall Performance of Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks REB01, REB02 and REB04
This lipstick range is a nice subtle range giving that feminine charm to your face. All of these shades naturally brighten up the face. With no extra makeup except a mascara and these lipsticks paired with the right lip liner gives a nice college or work look. If you want to head to a party, pair these lipsticks with the pop colored Kajal on your lower lash line or your upper lash line. Lining your lower lash line half way through from the outer corner t the inner corner will give a nice elegant look. This will work best for morning brunches for that fresh morning look. If you have pigmented lips, you might have to layer it well to make your lips show up the right color along with pairing it with the right lip liner. As it is not a matte lipstick it does not dry your lips.
Staying Power:
The staying power is quite good for this lipstick. It lasts for almost 4 hours without smudging. If you eat or drink something heavy, it will transfer. However it leaves a beautiful stain on the lips. Using a lip balm after the lipstick leaves a stain makes it very elegant and helps keep the lips still colorful. However it is important to use the lip liner not only to line your lips but also to fill it in to give the perfect base for the perfect pout and also make it last longer.
Would I recommend it?
Oh Ya! I will definitely recommend these lipsticks for their amazing texture and beautiful color pay off and it is totally worth the price.
