My experience with Maybelline Expert wear Blush Dusty Rose

Packaging

It comes in a rectangular container with a transparent lid. Upon opening the lid, there is an applicator brush and the blush itself. The product is packed in a silver container. The only thing is it doesn’t have a mirror.

Colour and texture

The name of the shade is “dusty rose” and it resembles the lightest, faintest shade of pink and has a smooth, powdery texture that has minimal fallout.

Fragrance

It smells like the Lakme pink powder, but not that strong to irritate the senses.

Experience

I purchased this product since I like the light colored blushes which can be used every day (I don’t really use every day though!). I liked this shade “dusty rose” and the claims they had given to this product. Also, since I have oily skin, it was very important for me to buy a blush that doesn’t clog my pores and doesn’t make my face even more oily. I applied this during one of the festivals and I liked the texture. It was easily blendable and the color could be built up. It has a very soft texture that can be applied to my fingers as well. It didn’t cause any breakouts, neither did it make my skin oily and lasted for a good 5 hours without falling out or flaking my skin. I was really happy with the results and I love this shade from the brand Maybelline. With good things, comes the bad ones. It contains loads of chemicals, so for those who are concerned about their skin health, I recommend not to use this product every day because, in the long run, this may damage the quality of your skin. Also, people who have dry skin need to use a good moisturizer prior to the application of this blush since it may make your skin dry since this has a powdery texture.In all, this is a go-to product that I always have in my makeup bag.
