Today I am going to review a summery poppy pink lip shade from COLOR sensational range from Maybelline New York.

Maybelline always came up with their new ranges in lip balms, lipsticks, and crayons. The fact I like about Maybelline Is that its pocket-friendly and are available in beautiful shades matching your skin type and color.

Maybelline lip Gradation by COLOR sensational range comes in 8 shades:

• Orange 1
• Coral 1
• Pink 1
• Pink 2
• Red 1
• Red 2
• Fuchsia 1

Here I am going to review one of these beautiful shades called Pink 1.

Packaging: Maybelline lip Gradation lip crayon comes in a sleek long packaging in the color of the shade. It comes with a smudger at the bottom to make ombre lips.

To use the product, you have to twist the bottom part to make the crayon come out.

Shade: Maybelline lip Gradation by COLOR sensational in Pink 1 is a bright poppy pink with a hint of neon in it.

It’s a summery shade which looks beautiful on most skin types.

Texture and pigmentation: Maybelline lip Gradation lip crayon has a smooth creamy texture, it is easy to apply. It glides over your lips like butter.

Pigmentation is quite good; the shade Pink 1 is much pigmented. The color is visible in only one swipe.

Stay: Maybelline lip Gradation lip crayon stays for about 7-8 hours approximately. After having your meal, a hint of pink is only visible on your lips.

Experience: The Maybelline lip Gradation lip crayon in Pink 1 is a bright pink which is suitable for the day only. Because it has a hint of neon in it, it doesn’t look good in the night time.

The price is quite high when I first got the product, but after using the product, I can say it is worth it because it is long lasting, good pigmentation and also the color is gorgeous.

The shade would go with fair to medium skin tone people and doesn’t look good on dark skin tone people, it will look more neon.

The shade is suitable for college, daytime parties, etc.

• Suitable for many skin types

Cons:

Sometimes it becomes patchy on lips.

Not suitable for dark skin people and people who don’t love wearing neon colors.

 

Would I recommend/ repurchase it?

I would recommend this beautiful shade for people who are looking for everyday kind of poppy pink color to wear. The shade is good no doubt, but I would not repurchase it, rather I would go for other shades in Maybelline range, because I love trying new products, and this shade doesn’t go Every time you want.
