Well, to be honest I bought this lipstick as a birthday gift for my mom. She is crazy about pretty pink lipsticks.

My experience with Maybelline Lip Gradation Fuchsia 1
First impression of the product:
The first impression of the product was pretty impressive. The packaging of the product is catchy and a sight to look at. Pink and black color was the twist up pencil is cute. It has a lip crayon on one hand and a sponge smudger on the other. So it caught my eye (as this is something new) and after applying the color on my hand as a tester I immediately picked this lipstick.
What I felt after using the product:
When I first applied this on my lips, I fell in love with its supreme soft application. It’s like applying butter on your lips. Believe me for I’m not exaggerating. The color is fine but what is great about this lipstick is that when you apply, it doesn’t feel like you have applied anything at all. It is way too light and completely matte (we all girls are mad about pretty pink matte aren’t we?). This is the only reason why I use this lipstick over others. It glides on lips like cream and gives a perfect finish. Another thing is that it doesn’t form any creases on the lips. It doesn’t even dry them and keeps them soft and supper. It is smudge proof and doesn’t transfer.
Another concept of this lipstick is smudging. I don’t know why they created this because few women know how to do ombre. For me, the smudger was not useful. I tried doing it but it ruined the shade.
Overall performance of Maybelline Lip Gradation Fuchsia 1
The performance of the product is great. Its soft crayon color gives the lips adequate color at one swipe only. It is superlight and smudge proof. The sponge on the other end can be used for doing ombre. This is a new concept I have come across. The fuchsia color is pretty but not that “awe color”. Another thing that I loved about this lipstick is that it doesn’t crack my lips by drying them.
Other than that, fuchsia color is too normal, it is not new. I have plenty of pinks in my collection, and this was nothing new. Maybelline should have innovated something new in this color. Secondly, the smudger, in practicality is of no use. It cannot do good ombre, it ruins the color.
Would I recommend?
Not sure whether I would because color was not too great. I would recommend this lipstick only to someone who has dry lips and lipstick makes them drier, because for them this product is the best as it keeps the lips moisturized and supper.
