My experience with Maybelline Fearless Purple Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lipstick

Packaging

I really like the packaging…it comes in a silver tube and the cover is a blue transparent shade. However though, it’s a little misleading. I wish the cover was in the shade of the lipstick…would be easier to figure out.

The base of the lipstick tube has the shade name and number mentioned on it.

Shade

So the shade, like the name suggests, is a beautiful bold purple that can really make you stand out. It’s a loud strong purple that will suit most skin tones. You really need to have the confidence to be able to wear a shade like this.

Texture

It’s a smooth, creamy texture that glides on to the lips quite easily and feels very soft.

Finish

Fearless purple does not have a glossy finish but it doesn’t settle into a matte either. It’s in between but just the right kind of finish. Also, it doesn’t dry out the lips. But it does emphasize fine lines, a tad bit.

Affordability

INR 450 for a lipstick is fair enough. Good shade, great quality…and just that amount, reasonable I’d say!

Staying Power

In general, Maybelline is one of my favorite brands. The quality of it is great and the products stay on so well. With this one too, the staying power was great. It stayed on for quite a while and was in place post a meal. However, though, the color at the center of the lip does wash off a little.

Transfer Proof

This doesn’t really transfer too much, just a little. Almost negligible.
