After reviewing one of the Lakme’s best foundations, I am back with another one, but this time, by Maybelline. Maybelline has a huge variety of foundations that are suitable for different skin types. Keeping in mind my combination skin, I started searching for the best product. My T-zone is oily while cheeks are permanently dry; so, when I got to know about this velvet foundation, I wasted no time and immediately added it to my cart. Here, Maybelline allows you to choose from 12 unique shades which will suit every complexion.

My Experience with Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation

Packaging: The packaging is simple and travel-friendly. It comes in an easy to use a squeezable cream tube with a normal cap closure. The tube is completely opaque; hence, do not allow you to check the amount of the product left.

Fragrance: The fragrance is not at all strong; therefore, those who are allergic to strong fragrances can easily choose this product.

Coverage: This is basically the best thing about this product that its coverage is amazing. It settles to a matte finish while providing a soft velvety texture to the skin. It is light on the skin and does not dry and makes you feel cakey. And in the end, keeps your skin moisturized for like some 7-8 hours.

Experience: First thing first, everything claimed by the brand is completely true. When I first used the product, I took an ample amount of the foundation and applied it evenly on my face. At first, it makes your skin look a little dark but after a few seconds, it settles to your natural skin color. Then comes the best part, the oily T-zone and the dry cheek portion do not seem oily or dry; in fact, there was smoothness in the texture of my skin which lasted for 6-7 hours.
