My Experience with Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Waterproof Mascara
This mascara is better than the most mascara available in the market. It stays on for a long time without smudging. It sure is waterproof but enough water resistance is not available for a professional swimmer. The wand is nice and huge. I like its shape and size, gives a good hold and allows you to enter the corners as well. But it dries out really quickly which is a major drawback for me because it doesn’t allow me to provide an even application which is why applying a 2nd coat becomes difficult.
Especially for the makeup newbies out there, might face a little bit of problem because of this drawback.
However, it does make the lashes look long and voluminous.
Positives of Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Waterproof Mascara
- It has a good lasting power of about 8-9 hours.
- It has pretty good water resistance.
- Gives a good amount of volume to the lashes also curls it.
- Easily available in most cosmetic stores.
- A good amount of product is available.
Negatives of Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Waterproof Mascara
- Does clump the lashes.
- Dries out really quickly without allowing anytime to apply a good thick even coat.
- Curled effect doesn’t last long.
Overall would I Repurchase and Recommend?
Yes, I would probably buy it again if the problem with drying is sorted out. It gives nice big lashes at a good price point. Also stays put for a long time without giving me raccoon eyes. If you are ok with the clumping of lashes, then this mascara is 1 of the best out there.:D
