Hello there prettiness 🙂 Maybelline New York launched a wide range of Colorshow lipsticks 2 years back and I am probably the last one to write about it 😛 Last month I visited my sister’s engagement and that was the first time I laid eyes upon this beautiful piece of creation. I quickly bought one and tried on. And here I am today, writing a review on the same. So ready?

Maybelline New York Colorshow 204 red diva lipstick is a red coloured glossy lipstick that every girl would love to try. Anyone with lips can try it on 😛 Suits any skin tone.

NATURAL/ORGANIC/VEGAN?

Well, this question took a lot of hard work. The brand printed the ingredients in a very tiny font, so I ended up googling to find the answer and finally the answer to this question is ‘NONE OF THE ABOVE’ -_-

 

WHAT DOES THE BRAND CLAIM?

The Maybelline New York brand has to say so about their wide range of Colorshow lipsticks:

1) Moisture rich formula that keeps the lips moisturized

2) Super hydrating formula

3) Bold color on one stroke

4) Long lasting formula

5) Sweet fragrance

6) Light formula

7) Lasts for four to five hours

HOW TO USE 

One stroke and flash…. get the look 😉 You could scrub your lips before applying it because no one would really want to apply lipstick on chapped lips. You could use a lip liner too. Red or maroon colored lip liners would go well with this lipcolor. (Maroon suits the best <3)

Note: Do not apply a lip balm because you will end up having very very very glossy lips.

 

My Experience with Maybelline Colorshow Red Diva 204 Lipstick

The first time I applied it, it just glided on my lips as if it was meant for me 😛 It had a fruity smell that I really loved. I didn’t really find the need to apply a lip balm which is a very happy news for a lazy bum like me 😛 It gave me extreme and bold color in just one stroke. The formula was super hydrated and light as promised by the brand. But here comes the real challenge, does it last long? To find the answer to this question, I applied it and attended a party. It hardly stayed for 2 hours. But that’s ok! I am really satisfied with all the other features of the lipstick 🙂

Overall Would I Repurchase?

Would I repurchase? Ha-ha, I have already purchased other shades from the Colorshow range and I would recommend it as well. But be strong to face the disappointment in long lasting feature of this product. However, it does excel itself in all the other factors.
