What is it? Maybelline Baby Lips Spicy Cinnamon Lip Balm is a colored lip balm enriched with SPF 20 for sun protection. It nourishes your lips from within and makes it smoother. With every application of it, your lips feel plump and moisturized.

You can apply it whenever you can feel some sort of dryness on your lips. It gives your lips a juicy look. You can use it throughout the year. Especially in winter, you need it the most. You can find its direction to use on the backside of the cardboard packet.

My experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Spicy Cinnamon Balm

Packaging

It comes in a simple same colored twist up tube. This twist-up tube is covered with a   cardboard pack. As it comes in a twist up tube it is hygienic. Because you need not use your hand to apply it to your lips. It does not take up much space. So it is travel-friendly.

I am quite happy with its packaging.

Texture

This lip balm has a very soft and creamy texture. Very easily it melts on your lips. It hydrates and moisturizes your lips very effectively without feeling sticky. It is very light. It does not weigh down your lips.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is not really buildable for this shade. It is good to apply on non-pigmented lips.

Shades

“Spicy cinnamon”, the name itself reflects that its color is very warm and spicy brown. It has no shimmer. This color like its other colors is designed to suit Indian skin tones.

Although it is the darkest shades among other shades unlike lipstick it comes out very light on lips.

Staying power

The brand claims that it stays 12 hours on your lips. But in reality, it stays only 1-2 hours on my lips. After that, it starts fading and my lips return to its normal color.

Experience

Though I need a special lip care throughout the year. Especially in winter, my lips become really dry and lose its natural moisturizer.

For me, its magical touch rejuvenates my lips. After every application, my lips have become very soft and smooth. It gets an instant glow .Especially I prefer this shade as it goes with my skin tone very well. Very often I use this one as it is very light.

But here I want to tell a fact that, this lip balm does not have the power to repair extremely dry and cracked lips. For that, you need to go to something else.

Pros:

1. It is very light and it has a creamy texture. It does not weigh down your lips. Thus you can apply it frequently
2. Packaging is also good and it is travel-friendly
3. It gives you soft and smooth lips without feeling sticky

Cons:

1. Price is little bit high
2. Staying power is low

Would I repurchase or recommend?

I love to repurchase it as I love this product very much. For me, it is the “Best lip balm” available in the market. So ladies go and buy it. It is a must buy product. You have to fall in love with it and it will take up a permanents space in your handbag too.
