Have you ever finished off a lipstick completely? Well, I have not but I have said ‘I am so over you!’ to a number of lip balms in my lifetime! Today I will be reviewing a lip balm that I recently got over with. It is the Maybelline Baby Lips Mango Pie. I am a die-hard fan of Maybelline’s Baby Lips. I have lost count of how many Baby Lips lip balms came to my vanity and went completely exhausted! I have used at least one lip balm from every collection Maybelline ever launched in India under the tag Baby Lips. I have dry lips and here is how Mango Pie performed on me.

My Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Mango Pie

Packaging- This lip balm comes with a cute looking round bullet. The body of the bullet is chirpy pink and its tiny lid is vibrant yellow. The packaging is quite an eye-candy like most other Baby Lips. The packaging is quite secure and sturdy; I have had no problem to carry this tiny bullet in my purse. I cannot have any other option but to give the packaging a high five!

Colour & Texture- This is a tint-free lip balm. It gives completely transparent finish with no whitish cast. The texture of this lip balm is smooth and creamy. It is not a greasy lip balm. It does not attract dirt. Different variants of Baby Lips have different formulas. This Mango Pie variant is one of the most nourishing variants of the entire Baby Lips range.

Fragrance- This lip balm has light mango candy kind of fragrance. The fragrance is not long staying. It goes off without tress in 5-10 minutes. I really enjoy the fragrance.

Experience- This bullet of Mango Pie variant was not my first. It was actually a repurchase. Normally I do not like to stick to a particular product for long. I like to experiment with various lip balms. But, the moisturizing formula of this lip balm along with its healing capacity urged me to get another one! This non-sticky lip balm stays for about 7 hours. I like to apply it in a thick layer and leave it for overnight. The next day I woke up with soft lips and a gentle rubbing of a washcloth is enough to slough off the accumulated dead skin on the lips. This lip balm works nicely under the extremely dry finish lipsticks. It helps them to stay moist for longer.
