Maybelline Baby Lips Beaming Violet: Tinted lip balms are my go-to lip products around the year. They give slight tint and boost up the moisture level of the lips. The lips look fuller with a good lip balm. I cannot leave Maybelline behind when I am discussing lip balm because this brand makes some of the best affordable lip balms in the Indian market. Maybelline’s widely appreciated Baby Lips series lip balms are always to be found on my favorite lip products list. Today I am reviewing Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud! Beaming Violet. This lip balm came under the Bright Out Loud! series of Baby Lips. This particular series introduced some really pigmented lip balms. The one I am reviewing has a pink tint to it. Let’s read on to know if this lip balm is any good or just gimmick.

The exclusive formula moisturizes and protects lips while giving a subtle shine and color to the lips. This lip balm is infused with Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter for continuous moisture and supple smooth lips all day.

My Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud! Beaming Violet

Packaging– This lip balm comes in a sleek bullet packaging. The balm container looks like a lipstick bullet rather than a chap-stick packaging. You need to twist the bottom to reveal the balm. The bullet came packed inside a cardboard outer cover. This outer casing had all the informative details mentioned in it. The packaging has been made very attractive with bright pink color and yellow-orange writings on it. It is a sturdy and travel-safe packaging; you can store it anywhere in your purse.

Shade, Pigmentation & Texture- The shade Beaming Violet is a blue toned fuchsia. The tint of the balm is really vibrant and the colour pay-off is excellent. It is almost like a sheer lipstick with a glossy finish. It gives translucent coverage to my lips. This is, no doubt, the most pigmented blue toned fuchsia from the entire Baby Lips collection. The texture of this lip balm is light and non-sticky. It moisturizes my lips but not like the original Baby Lips that come in the old chap-stick form. For my lips, it will need reapplication in every 2-3 hours in the extreme winter.

Fragrance- This lip balm has very refreshing cool mint type fragrance. This type of fragrance is able to energize me instantly. So, I am loving the fragrance very much. This kind of fragrance is something that everybody likes.

Experience- The Bright Out Loud! series lip balms are costly than the other regular Baby Lips balms. This one gives you only 1.9 gm in 190 bucks whereas the normal Baby Lips balms provided over 4gm product at the same price. The formula of this lip balm is moisturizing but not as nourishing as the original Baby Lips. Still, I am in love with this lip balm because of its excellent pigmentation, great staying power, and non-sticky formula. This one gives a very nice glossy finish. The glossiness along with the subtle pink tint makes my lips look naturally pink and plump. The after effect is comparable to the finish obtained from a pink lip gloss. This one has a nice tingling sensation to it which gives a surge of freshness to the lips. It stays on my lips for 4 hours and then the nourishing feeling starts to go off but the tint stays for a bit more. I can easily pair this lip balm with some Kajal to come up with a decent everyday look.

2. Formula is less moisturizing

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud! Beaming Violet is one of my favorite pink lip balms with intense tint and lip gloss like finish. I would certainly buy it again. I would recommend it to everyone as naturally pink lips are everyone’s favorite!
