How to Use?

Firstly, buy the compact according to your skin tone. Next, apply foundation, along with concealer/ primer, if required. Now, sweep the powder brush over the compact, and remove any excess powder. Then apply it on your face in downward strokes. It’s heavier if applied with a sponge but lighter if applied with a brush, so it doesn’t look cakey.

My Experience with Max Factor Pressed Powder

Max Factor Tempting Touch Pressed Powder 56 Review 4

Max Factor is an internationally acclaimed brand that has been on the market for 6 decades. This statement is itself enough for its introduction. Firstly, I have not bought this product directly from India (It can be easily shipped from online shopping websites) and I have normal skin. Max Factor Crème Puff is available in 7 shades – Translucent, Medium Beige, Nouveau Beige, Truly Fair, Tempting Touch, Natural, and Golden. I had earlier purchased Medium Beige but didn’t work great for you. So this time I have tried the Tempting Touch 56.

Firstly, when I opened the pressed powder, I noticed a lovely scent which is quite unusual as it was pretty strong for any makeup product. I use it after applying foundation. It gives a smooth, silky and matte finish to my face. It takes few minutes to settle in but stays for 6-7 hours I like the package design but the earlier one scratched off easily. Though it comes with a sponge, I suggest using it with a brush as it gives a more even look.

Overall Performance of Max Factor Pressed Powder

Positives :

  • Suitable for normal skin.
  • Suited for evening parties.
  • Looks natural on skin.
  • Firmly packed powder and less messy.
  • Gives a good matte texture.

Negatives:

  • Not available easily.
  • A very high price.
  • Not for girls with dry skin.
  • Has to be reapplied after 3-4 hours, if used on oily skin.

Overall Would I Repurchase And Recommend?

Yes, I would recommend it as it is one of my favorites. But, only if you are a big-time makeup geek as a very high price is to be paid. For beginners and occasional users, other pressed powders can be used such as Lakme and Maybelline.
