My Experience with Maui Moisture Bamboo Fibers Shampoo

Packaging

This shampoo comes in a green bottle with the cap on it which, is travel-friendly and leakage proof.

Colour & Texture

This is a white color shampoo and somewhat on the thicker side when compared to other shampoos.

Fragrance

The shampoo smells heavenly. The aloe juice mixed with coconut water is just wow!

Experience

This was the first shampoo which I bought when I decided to ditch to sulfates and chemicals laded shampoos. Because it was cheap here in Germany, I decided to give it a try. When you make the transition to sulfate free shampoo your hair does need some time to react. It will feel oily in starting and that’s what happened to me. For the price, this shampoo is a great product. It did make my hair healthy but it was drying for my then wavy hair. And it’s not a product for frizzy hair.

What do I like about this product?
  1. Sulfate, phosphate, and paraben free.
  2. Contains aloe juice and coconut water.
  3. A small amount lathers up pretty well.
  4. It contains natural ingredients.
  5. It does make hair healthy to some extent.
  6. Smells great.
What I dislike about the product?
  1. It’s not a product for frizzy hair.
  2. It makes my hair a little dry.
  3. Didn’t really help with volume of hair.
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Probably the other products in the same line are better suited for my hair. This at best is an average shampoo.
