I adore anything to do with bath and body care. There is something about pampering ourselves with shower gels, body butters, bath salts….sigh I can go on. Thus, I try a lot of shower gels to suite my mood and occasion. Today I am going to review a body wash from Lux! Yes the same Lux brand which is known for its soaps has ventured into shower gel category. Hence, my curious mind wanted to try this. Lux claims that this range of shower gels is infused with world class perfume. Let’s see how the Black Orchid and Juniper Oil variant fared for me:

Basic info of the Lux Magical Spell Body Wash:

- Fine fragrance Of Black Orchids & Juniper Oil

My experience with the Lux Magical Spell Body Wash:
I really look for pretty and efficient packaging when I buy a product and during the time when I was buying it, it seemed ok. However, I was proved wrong a couple of days later. The cap broke from the middle section and product had accumulated around it which made me so queasy. Almost half of the product was wasted due to leakage and I thought that I got a faulty product but soon I realized that a good number of people have the same problem. I really hope Lux makes steady packaging as this is one of the most affordable washes out there.
Their claim of 8 hours fragrance is farfetched but the scent is so invigorating! It’s quite musky and woody. The body wash is purple in color and is quite runny. It lathers and clears the dirt nicely. The body wash is huge and will last for a month easily. The scent lasts upto 2 hours maximum.
Overall performance of Lux Magical Spell Body Wash:
It is a nice body wash with an amazing scent and does everything it claims except for the 8 hours claim. The packaging is the main problem I faced.
Would I recommend Lux Magical Spell Body Wash?
Yes however, I suggest you check the packaging first and then buy.
