How to Use:

Cleanse your face and pat dry. Smooth a good dollop of Fresh Face Mask over your entire face, making sure to avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave the mask on for about ten minutes (do not let the mask dry completely). Now is a good time to read the latest LUSH Times! …And finally, wash off with warm water and follow with your favorite toner and moisturizer.

My Experience with Lush Ayesha Fresh Face Mask

Packaging:

The Mask comes in a standard sized pot and is available only in stores. You are supposed to keep it refrigerated and use it within the expiry period. This mask is like a paste that spreads quite easily. The Ayesha mask has a peculiar medicinal scent. Although all the products are natural…it contains a synthetic fragrance. Which to me is quite frankly off-putting?

Experience:

I feel a tingling and slightly irritating feeling on my skin when I apply this. My mother, on the other hand, does not feel anything. This makes me believe that is a mask which is actually suited ONLY for mature skin! I suffered breakouts after applying this mask once and that was enough for me to wash my hands of it. My mother on the other hand quite likes this mask…it gives her skin an instant uplift feeling. But you know what, it completely temporary. To me, Lush has other much better masks…this one just doesn’t make the cut.

Positives
  1. Natural ingredients
  2. Tightens and tones up mature skin
Negatives
  1. The uplifting effect is temporary
  2. May cause breakouts to sensitive skin
  3. Does not smell good
  4. Has added fragrance-maybe that is the source of irritation
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?

Did not wow me at all. I suggest you try this out before deciding to purchase this. Definitely not recommended for sensitive skin.

GlossyPolish Verdict

1/5
