My experience with Lotus Safe Sun UV Screen Matte Gel SPF 50
The sunscreen comes in a bright orange packaging which is their safe sun color code I believe. It has a flip cap dispenser which closes the tube tight. The tube is not bulky so it fits in your handbag easily to carry it around.
The sunscreen is a white gel consistency. It applies very smooth on the skin. The gel gets absorbed into the skin and gives a matte finish without drying the skin which is a good thing. This sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin as the most cream-based sunscreens do. The product carries a mild fragrance which fades away on blending the gel on to the skin. My skin stays oil-free for about 3 to 4 hours.
Talking about the disclaimer part, this gel-based sunscreen works amazingly during the summer days and prevents skin from getting too oily. Even though it says matte, it doesn’t strip off the entire moisturize from the skin and it stays light on the skin for a good amount of time.
The SPF of 50 is perfect to protect our skin from sun damage. The only issue with this sunscreen is that it gets washed away easily, I tend to sweat a lot during summers and this product doesn’t withstand my sweat. Hence, I need to reapply very often.
