Don’t we just love that dewy, rose-flushed cheeks? And the product used to attain them? Temporarily, blushes. Yes, today I will be reviewing one of the blushes from loreal Paris true match. Before starting the review, I want to give a few tips. If you want that glow naturally, try drinking beetroot juice every day and if you are skeptical to use cosmetic products on your skin and you are worried that it may harm your skin, don’t worry. There are a few natural products. You can dab a little amount of beetroot juice on the apple of your cheeks and on your lips. There you go, you have your DIY lip and cheek stain. Now, coming back to the product, read on to know if the loreal Paris blush was a hit or a miss.

What is it?

True match blush flawlessly complements your skin’s tone and texture. It coordinates perfectly with the true match makeup, powder, and concealer. True-to-life shades precisely match your skin tone and undertone, leaving you with the most natural flush of color imaginable. It comes in 12 amazing true-to-you shades which match almost every skin tone. It matches the skin tone and texture. It hides blemishes and covers the imperfections as well.

How to use

Use a blush brush and swipe once or twice depending on the requirement and smile. Apply it to the apple of the cheeks and blend upwards. Blend until it looks natural enough. It says it is easily blendable but it is required to blend pretty well. The good thing is it does come with a blush brush.

My experience with Loreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Blush Apricot Kiss

Packaging

It comes in a super cute circular packaging with the color of the blush seen since the top is transparent. It is easy to carry and hence, 1 point for the packaging. There are 2 openings. One has a brush and mirror and the other side has the blush.

Vegan alert

No, this product is not vegan

Fragrance

It has a very chemical-ish smell to it which I didn’t like. The smell is not too over-powering though.

Experience

There was this occasion where I was supposed to have pink cheeks and hence decided to buy a blush. I am Loreal’s dedicated customer and decided to purchase this since I saw pretty good reviews about this product. I started using this but I didn’t see the hype to be true. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is pretty blendable but the color pay-off is bad. The color won’t make you happy. It won’t last long. It just falls off.  If you are a matte-lover, then please don’t buy this blush since it has a teeny-weeny amount of shine to it which will disappoint you. Also, it doesn’t stay long since it is powdery texture. Here, I give a tip. If you want your blush to stay long, use it as a crème blush. Mix a tiny amount of your moisturizer or petroleum jelly with the blush and dab and blend. This way, the blush sticks to the skin and stays a little longer. It does come with a blush brush and a mirror which makes it easy to carry and use it for a quick flush on the cheek. How much ever you apply, it falls out and becomes extremely light and goes unnoticed. But overall, not a nice product though.

Pros

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Not-so-good smell
  • Bad color pay off
  • Color just falls off
  • Doesn’t last too long

Would I repurchase or recommend?

No, I wouldn’t really recommend this product or repurchase this since the color pay-off is not at all good and coming from a reputed brand like loreal, I am disappointed. There are better blushes in the market for a much affordable price.
