I was always apprehensive about sporting a Red lipstick or any shade in red. But with the Red Rouge shade, it seemed a perfect start to my venture into the ‘red territory’! I am simply in love with the shade and its quality. The product stands strong on its claims and standards. The packaging is quite impressive and elegant with a black glossy cover and a red color indicator with an autograph by its respective brand ambassadors on each shade. A neat and handy packaging is a plus point of this product. The only thing to keep in mind is that the lips should be exfoliated and moisturized properly to avoid dryness after 6 hours of application and developing cracks on the lips and the lipstick coat. The stay is for around 6 hours and doesn’t wear off with meals. Use oil or a makeup remover for taking it off.
Well, the lipstick remains hydrated for up to 4 hours if the lips were moisturized before applying the lipstick, if not moisturized prior to the lipstick application the lips go dry and cracks soon.
The finish is matte but the texture is cream which provides elasticity for a long time.
The lipstick doesn’t transfer and is lightweight on lips.
It is looking bright pink because of the camera quality in daylight. On camera, it gives a bright pink look. Else it is as I mentioned is a darker shade of red.

What I don't Like?

A big yes! I will definitely repurchase the product since the lipstick has swept me off my feet. I will highly recommend this product as the color is super elegant and worth all the investment. Perfect for the Indian skin tones and suitable for all occasions and ages. Thumbs up.
