Who is it for? Loreal Gel Liner Profound Black is for everyone, whether a beginner or a pro at makeup. It is pretty easy to use and women who have been using a pen or liquid liners will not have any problem in the application.

Loreal Gel Liner Profound Black

Price:

MRP INR 999/- (available at good discounts)

Method of Application:

This liner comes with a brush. As the liner is creamy and gel-like in texture, one can take just a little amount of it from the pot, with the help of the brush and use it to define the lash line and even make the flicks for the cat-eyes. I would advise closing the pot as soon as you have taken out the gel else it will dry out soon.

My Experience with Loreal Gel Liner Profound Black

Packaging:

The gel liner comes in a small pot with a twist to open cap. The transparent pot with golden cap looks cute yet classy. Its small size makes it travel-friendly.

It comes along with a black liner brush which is a major plus. The sleek brush has a transparent lid to avoid mess after use.

Texture:

The liner is in form of a creamy gel which makes the application super easy. It glides smoothly on the eyes and is blendable unlike liquid liners. It dries out soon after application giving a matte finish. Though the texture is creamy, it can dry out soon if not covered or closed after use.

Pigmentation:

It has good profound pigmentation and can be used to achieve bold eyes.

Smudgeproof and Stay:

Yes! Once it settles and dries, it does not smudge easily. Though I have not tested if it would last for 36H as it claims, it lasts for almost the entire day. I have an oily skin type and if I rub my eyes it comes off a little but does not leave behind a black mess. As it is a gel, it is waterproof and is better cleaned with makeup remover than water.

Points in Favour:
  1. Smudgeproof
  2. Good pigmentation
  3. Blendable
  4. Comes with a liner brush
  5. Travel-friendly
  6. Waterproof
  7. Lasts long
What I did not like about it:
  1. Can come off a little on the oily skin
Would I recommend or repurchase?

Yes! Its performance is pretty good in comparison to liquid and pencil liners.

Rating:

5 out of 5
