Hey everyone, Today my review is going to be on the L Oreal Liquid Lipstick Molto Mauve. L’Oreal is one brand which has a lot of lipstick finishes in a ton of shades. This particular range is a glossy finish lip color. This was a gift for me. Let’s see how it fared on my lips.

My experience with L Oreal Liquid Lipstick Molto Mauve
The L’Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color comes in a stunning metallic packaging and feels very luxurious. The shade is displayed up front and bottom of the lipstick. A color-coded sticker on top makes it easier to spot the shade if you have a huge collection of lipsticks. It comes with a doe foot applicator which picks up the right amount of product.
Molto Mauve is a lovely mauve nude color with shimmer. The shimmer particles are not gritty. The shade is great for everyday wear. The texture of the lipstick is not heavy but if you apply more than two coats it does feel heavy. It does not accentuate fine lines. However, the shade is a tad sheer and is not suitable for pigmented lips. The longevity of the lipstick is around 3-4 hours and after that, it’s just shimmer which is disappointing for the price. Sensitive noses won’t be bothered with the smell as it is very faint. The lipstick does provide hydration to the lips and not in a sticky way.
Overall Performance of L Oreal Liquid Lipstick Molto Mauve

- Subtle shimmer, nothing too heavy.
- Not sticky.
- Available in a good number of shades.
- Quite moisturizing on the lips.
Negatives
- Expensive
- This shade won’t suite pigmented lips.
Overall would I repurchase and recommend it?
I will not repurchase this shade as I have pigmented lips but maybe in another shade. I won’t recommend it but you could give it a shot if you are curious about the texture.
