L’occitane Volumizing Shampoo: Volumizing shampoo to remove buildup and give bounce to hair. Suitable for all hair types.I have thin hair and a normal scalp. The hair has enough volume, but I prefer to use volumizing shampoos on alternate days, because in my opinion they are the best for removing build up. Now the point is, I have heard many people complain that that particular shampoo leaves an uncomfortable oily feeling to the scalp. I personally have not experienced this problem. The reason probably is that I use both these shampoos alternating. So my piece of advice would be, use a hydrating shampoo one day and a volumizing shampoo the other. It keeps your hair in top condition 🙂 Let’s look at the L’occitane Volumizing Shampoo!
Rs 1460 for 300 ml
How to Use:
Pour a small amount of shampoo in the palm of your hand. Breathe in the aromatic fragrance and relax. Apply on wet hair, massage gently into a thick lather, leave in for 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly.
My Experience with Loccitane Volumizing Shampoo
This shampoo comes in a gorgeous plastic bottle with a nozzle opening. I like the packaging, its travel-friendly and not a single drop of the product gets wasted.
The shampoo is a transparent liquid gel. It is slightly runny. I mix it with equal parts of water and apply to the scalp as instructed. It has a very mellow, minty soft herbal kind of smell. I find the scent soothing and relaxing. It is the kind of fragrance that can be used by the ENTIRE family- I mean a special reference to guys.
The shampoo lathers decently. I love how it gives my hair a clean and fluffy bounce. I am on my third bottle and that is saying a LOT.
However, this shampoo does not give your hair any special hydration. My personal recommendation will be to please either use a good conditioner or alternate it with a hydrating shampoo the next day 🙂
- Gives hair nice volume
- Free from silicones
- Nice relaxing neutral fragrance
- Lathers decently
- Does not dry hair out
- Does not provide any extra hydration
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?
I like this and recommend it to girls with an oily scalp or those on the lookout for a good shampoo that relieved build up.
