The small shops of my place do not have testers for all deodorants and the reviews of commonly available deodorants are scarce as well. These two cons together have made me buy ‘undesired-smelling’ fragrances a lot of time. My Experience with Layer’r Wottagirl! Romance

Packaging- This body mist comes housed in a red see-through spray bottle with a similar looking red lid. Both the bottle and the lid seem strong enough. I have dropped the bottle on hard floor two times already but they did not even scratch. The spray nozzle is also good in quality; it dispenses the correct amount of product on each press. The detailed ingredient list and the usage directions are to be found on the bottle. Plus, the amount of product left in the bottle can be identified easily due to the transparent packaging. It can be seen clearly that there is no gas in the bottle; there is only fragrant liquid.

Fragrance- Seeing the red packaging, I expected the fragrance to smell all floral but to my surprise, the fragrance is distinctively fruity. Immediately after application, the smell feels like a mixture of fruity and floral with a hint of sweetness. When the top note goes off, the smell becomes fruity. The fragrance has very energizing nature. It is able to bubble up to the mood without being overpowering or ‘headache-causing’. People who like fruity fragrances will certainly enjoy this one. This type of fragrance can be easily worn in daytime (for school, colleges or workplace) as well as in evening occasions.

Staying Power- Since it is a body mist, the intensity of the fragrance is lower than perfumes. Still, this one can be compared to light Eau De Toilettes. If I apply it only on the skin, the fragrance lasts up to 2-3 hours. If I apply it on the clothes and the skin, the staying power becomes 4-5 hours. Of course, the fragrance will lose its intensity but it still stays recognizable.

Overall Performance of Layer’r Wottagirl! Romance

I find Layer’r Wottagirl! Cl’assic Collection Fragrant Body Splash in Romance to be a fresh smelling body mist with floral-fruity fragrance. It controls body odor and keeps me smelling fresh for a considerable amount of time. This fragrance does not have a tendency to get mixed with the body odor; it actually suppresses the foul smell.
