Lancome Visionaire Advanced Skin Corrector Review

A while ago I was attending a beauty convention where I got my hands on this Lancome Visionaire Advanced Skin Corrector. I call it precious as this is more towards the high-end serums.

Serums, a very helpful yet underrated product in skin care. Have stubborn acne? Scared of wrinkles? Want to reduce the skin’s aging process? All skincare routines are incomplete without a good serum.

Serums help with controlling oil production, wrinkles, minimizing pores, giving an even texture, skin tone and maintaining it. Finding one that suits your needs and skin is a challenge. A typical good serum can range from 700 to 30,000 rupees. There is a wide range to choose from, so choose wisely.

Enough talk let’s get to why we’re here.

Lancome Visionaire Advanced Skin Corrector 1

PRICE:  $80
SUGGESTED USE:

On clean and toned face and neck. Twice daily followed by moisturizer and sunscreen at mornings.

My Experience with Lancome Visionaire Serum

PACKING:

As expected with a high-end product its luxury packaging is quite a showpiece perfect to accent your vanity, the applicator however I felt was quite useless but the full sizes have pump bottles so I’m sure that issue they have to take care of.

COLOR & TEXTURE:

It’s surprisingly quite velvety and has a non-sticky silk formula. It’s quite sheer and milky in color.

FRAGRANCE:

The fragrance is quite fresh and slightly florally, doesn’t overpower or last for more than a couple minutes.

EXPERIENCE:

I am personally quite familiar with LANÔME. Their products deliver amazing results, and due to their formulation in France, they tend to get pricey here in India. It’s difficult to get your hands on such products in local markets but once you try it you might take a while to get back to other brands.

The Visionnaire does apply quite flawlessly and refreshes the skin, I have to admit not a lot of products give the lightweight almost your skin feeling that this does.

After a week of testing this beauty I have to say it’s been a wonder to my skin, I’ve had severe acne all throughout my childhood and this has reduced the scarring and the large pore that even a lot of pore filling primers haven’t.

I’ve even gifted one of these beauties to my mother and she has been having a great time using this as a primer under her makeup too.

Lancome Visionaire Advanced Skin Corrector 3

PROS:
  1. Controls the oil and sebum
  2. Silicone-based hence reduces the visibility of pores
  3. Lightweight doesn’t cake up or get uncomfortable
  4. Brightens the skin inside out
CONS:
  1. Too expensive
  2. Not too practical for everyday use
  3. No visible changes unless used for a month.
Would I Recommend?

Unless you have bucks to burn I wouldn’t recommend this. Only cause of the impracticality of its price. Though it’s a marvel for a serum and I definitely am on a search for its dupe. A similar but serum would be the Loreal Skin Perfection Correcting Concentrated Serum L.H.A + 2 % Lr2412 with a price of  RS 2000/ 30 ml, But with not as much lasting effects.

RATING: 4/5

Yes it was definitely quite underwhelming but the results are quite visible though the price is a major drawback.

From your reviews on these luxe beauty items it seems that not all expensive products are worth what they cost..
