So here I am, yet again with one more product sponsored by GlossyPolish. Being the writer of the month has its own perks ;). Out of all the NYKAA products present on the wonderful website. I chose this. Why ? First, because I had heard a lot about the LAKME 9 to 5 lip soldiers and Secondly, I wanted this shade badly. So now having this product in my bag, if you ask me to define my feelings for it in one single word, I would say “ Satisfied “. Yeah, the product is an everyday wear and it is everything you will be wanting of a product with an affordable tag price. Lakme, the word itself is enough to convince and market the product but the awesomeness of this matte lipstick may make you bring more of its shades.

Lakme claims the product to be crease-less. A long lasting lipstick with matte finish. The ingredients selected to make this product are supposed to make your lips softer and add more elegance to it.

Direction to use

Glide the lipstick over your lips. If your lips are drier than normal, you need to apply Vaseline or a lip balm otherwise, it is just fine to wear it on your nude lips.

My Experience with Lakme 9 To5 Creaseless Matte Lipstick Red Chaos

I just mentioned above that I wanted this shade for long. I had already use some of its shades but hadn’t officially owned one. But I am glad I do have one now and I am really enjoying the ownership. The lipstick is indeed creaseless. It doesn’t create lines on the lips. The fragmentation is very rare and can only occur if your lips are drier than normal. The colour does stay for long but the it keeps losing on its colour intensity with each passing hour. It is travel friendly and gives a sober look to your lips. This shade particularly, is very subtle and sober and is best for everyday use. Having this on, can never make you look overdone.

Although you may feel the need to apply the lipstick again over 3-4 hours but that is okay. Isn’t it? This lipstick and especially this shade are for the days you just want to go easy. Wear it on and make the breeze around lighter.

Overall performance is very satisfactory. The matte finish, the soft lips and the presence of oils in the product can be felt on your lips.
