My experience with Kaya Lighten And Smooth Under Eye Gel

Packaging

It comes in a sleek white plastic tube, with a pointed nozzle to dispense the product with ease. It has a twist up cap which keeps the product secured and travel-friendly.

Fragrance

This has no fragrance at all. Which works pretty well for me. As fragrances are nothing but chemicals and none of us would want to treat our under eyes with harsh chemicals.

Color and consistency

It has lightweight yet creamy consistency. Which is pale white in color and gets absorbed into your skin like dream. Without any greasy or oily finish.

Performance

I have prominent dark circles which developed recently, and l was hunting for something that helps, I got my hands on this one as it is awarded as best under eye cream from nykaa. Now coming to my experience, I gave this product a fair 2 months to show some results, at which this majorly failed. I have been diligently using this in my night care routine. But this did no good to my under the eye. I generally do not have puffy eyes or fine lines or wrinkles. So can’t really make a remark on that. All this did be moisturized and firmed my under eye without any greasy feels. If you want to use this as preventive cream. You can go for it. But not as a cure.

What I like
  • Moisturises and firms under eye
  • Lightweight
  • Nongreasy
  • Gets easily absorbed
  • Wearable in the daytime as well
  • Travel-friendly packaging
What I dislike
  • Does not helps a bit with dark circles
  • Not lives up to its claims
  • Not value for money
  • No fragrance
  • Difficult application
Will  I recommend this?

No, considering the price at which this comes for and the quantity delivered, I won’t recommend this to anyone, even home remedies shows results in 2 months in lightening dark circles, and if you want to get a cream just for moisturizing then you can get many easy and affordable options. Even castor or almond oil works well. You definitely can skip this product.
