Joy Sun Screen UV Protection & Whitening Lotion Review

by Shivani Patni

Who is it for? Joy Sun Screen UV Protection & Whitening Lotion  Is for you if you are looking for a lotion which not only keeps your skin hydrated but also prevents skin tan.

Joy Sun Screen UV Protection & Whitening Lotion

Price:

Rs105.00 for 100 ml

How to use:

Take a small amount of lotion on your palm. Apply it throughout your face or body and massage gently.

My Experience with Joy Sun Screen UV Protection & Whitening Lotion

About the bottle:

This lotion comes in a white colored bottle with a flip cap which is orange in color. The quality of the bottle is moderate. You need not worry about any leakage as it is spill proof but the only thing that annoys is that the lotion doesn’t come out smoothly. You have to do a lot of squeezing to make it come out of the bottle.

The texture of the lotion:

The texture is a bit thick. You will need a large amount of lotion to cover it all over your skin. The best part is that the lotion is not oily like other sunscreens.

The time it lasts for:

The lotion is specially made for UV protection. It is a great option for summers. No matter if you have an oily skin or a dry skin, you can use this lotion without any worries. The lotions keep the skin protected for long hours.

Smell:

The aroma of this lotion is very attractive. It will keep you refreshed everytime you will use it.

Other things:

You don’t have to buy different tan protectors for face or body, it is one-for-all lotion. The lotion prevents dryness, protects the skin from harmful radiations of the sun and it also prevents skin darkening.

Pros

1- Fast absorbing and non-sweaty texture

2- Prevents skin dryness

3- Acts as a UV protector

4- Has a rich blend of Licorice extracts & grape seed

5- Easily available

6- Lasts for a long time

Cons

1- Packaging of the lotion is not that good

2- Requires a huge amount to spread on the skin

3- May not be suitable for sensitive skin type

Would I suggest you buy it?

If you want an all-in-one lotion, this lotion would be a good choice for you. But if you are someone who doesn’t like to spend much amount on such things, I won’t suggest you buy this one. I didn’t find it much effective as per the price range.

Only if you’re going out for a few hours. Joy products won’t protect you for a longer period of time. :)

I have a sunblock from the same brand which is pretty light, however it didn’t really protect me from tan. Dont think this one is that effective as a sunblock too…?
