Winter is the perfect season to slather on creams and lotions and pamper your skin. The sensation of rubbing fragrant cream on parched skin is strangely satisfying. You can almost hear your skin sighing with pleasure.
My face was simply begging for rich hydration. Having oily and acne-prone skin makes it difficult to find the right cream. I decided to give Iraya’s Wheatgerm and orange face massage cream a try. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I am not disappointed.

My experience with Iraya Wheatgerm and Orange Face Massage Cream
If the list of ingredients does not impress you of its wholesomeness, its sunny yellow colour is bound to put you in a good mood. I hardly use a pea-sized amount and it works wonders to nourish my skin. I apply it once after my bath and it lasts the whole day.
It is a thick cream with a smell typical of ayurvedic products. I did not like it much, but it’s not a bad smell so that should not be the sole deciding factor. Other than the not-so-fragrant smell, I found it to be a good moisturizing cream that softens and smoothens the skin. It did not trigger my acne, as many creams do, and within a few days my skin felt noticeably softer.
Positives of Iraya Wheatgerm and Orange Face Massage Cream
- It is thick and great for winter
- Moisturizes the skin well
- It is long-lasting
- Smoothens the skin
- Do not need to apply much, unless skin is very dry
Negatives of Iraya Wheatgerm and Orange Face Massage Cream
- Smell is not very pleasant
- Pricey for the quantity
- Too heavy for summer
Overall would I repurchase and recommend?
It is a natural and ayurvedic product. It serves well as a moisturizer. Being a heavy cream, it should ideally be applied at night. It is a good face cream for winter. The price may hold you back, but you don’t need to apply a lot, so it will last long. If you want to treat your face to clean ayurvedic conditioning, it’s definitely worth a try.
