My Experience with Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam Review

Packaging:

The packaging of the product is very simple with a flip-open tube. It, of course, is travel-friendly and unlike other scrubs which comes inside a container, prevents the hassle of dipping the fingers in to get the product which I feel is quite unhygienic. There is a lot of product in the tube and you only need a pea-size amount for the entire face so it would last long.
The thing which I found annoying about the packaging though was that it never shuts properly. However, the scrub has a foamy texture and it doesn’t spill out of the tube as I open it. I also didn’t see any spillage during traveling but the fact that it doesn’t actually shut is quite bothersome for me.

Texture and Fragrance:

It has a foamy texture with little beads present inside. The scrub is mild and gentle which I love because I don’t like using anything too harsh on my face. It lathers up wonderfully and just a little amount is enough to cover the entire face. Being foamy scrub, It can be used regularly as opposed to more textured scrubs which can be harsh. I use it twice a week and though it feels light on the skin, it does what it says when it comes to removing any kind of grimes from the face. Although it is effective in removing dirt from the face, it does not leave the skin crazy dry which I had experienced with my previous scrubs. Of course, you need to follow it up with a moisturizer but it does not rip the face off of all the moisture.
Coming to the fragrance, it has a mild flowery fragrance which is very refreshing. I also prefer products having mild smell because they are not over-powering,

My Experience:

I am absolutely obsessed with this scrub! From the very first day, I could notice that my skin looked much cleaner and over-time I noticed that the pores on my skin, especially around the nose have minimized. I love using this product because it is so gentle on the skin and controls sebum effectively. I have an oily T-zone which gets oilier throughout the day but this scrub does control oil and keeps the skin matte for several hours. I do have sensitive skin and using any new product can cause breakouts but I did not experience any such problem with this product. Innisfree definitely didn’t disappoint in terms of the effectiveness of their products. The scrub deeply cleanses the pores, removes impurities and leaves the skin squeaky clean. My skin also feels really smooth every time I use this scrub. I have had the problem of greasiness and shine in the nose and I feel that this product is doing a great job in treating it. Apart from the slight malfunction in terms of the packaging I honestly have nothing to complain about in this product. It is definitely one of my holy grails and I don’t plan on using any other scrub after this.
Like all Innisfree products, the products might not be available in all the cities but they are available on various online sites.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is struggling with oiliness and have a lot of pores. I swear by its effectiveness and it is one of those products which you never get bored of using. I do not intend to use any other scrub after this.
