Innisfree Green Barley Bubble Cleanser Review

by Ankita Bhattacharya

Innisfree Green Barley Bubble Cleanser :Hello, beauties! The Korean skin-care regime is one of the most sought-after regimes in the world. From their products such as sheet masks to essence, each Korean product has been successful in providing a beautiful, glowy skin that one always wanted. Innisfree is one such Korean brand. I have been using products from Innisfree since months and I am happy to say that not one product from this brand has disappointed me. Today I will be talking about Innisfree Green Barley Bubble Cleanser.

I came to know about this Cleanser from watching a video of youtube Joan Kim in which she talked about how much she loved this cleanser.

The reason why I got so obsessed with foam cleansers is that foam is very efficient in picking up all the dirt from even the tiniest pores. Furthermore, green barley is known to have skin brightening and hydrating effects and improves skin elasticity. It also has skin healing properties.

Let’s get into a further review about the product.

Innisfree Green Barley Bubble Cleanser Review

Price and quantity:

INR 750 for 150ml.

My Experience with Innisfree Green Barley Bubble Cleanser

Packaging:

The product comes in a nice elongated plastic bottle with a pump. I’ve always loved products having pumped in them solely because they seem to be much easier to use, They are still free and you can extract just the desired amount from them. The description at the back of the product is in the Korean language, however, they have put up a separate label for the Indian market which gives the entire product description in English.

The product is definitely travel-friendly and I love the sturdy packaging of this cleanser, as opposed to various tube packaging.

Texture and consistency:

The cleanser is a pearly white foam which lathers up beautifully. The foamy texture does not rip the skin off its natural oils. It does not dry out the face, contrary to most of the creamy cleansers. It is a mild cleanser and is yet very effective in removing all the grimes from the face. Though the consistency is not very thick, it spreads rather easily so you won’t have to use a lot of product for a single wash. Just 2-3 pumps goes a long way. Hence, there’s a lot less wastage and the product can easily last around 3 months.

Fragrance:

It has a mild smell and it smells like lemons and citrus which is very refreshing. It is not strong or overpowering.

My experience:

I was pleasantly surprised after using this cleanser. I have used a lot of cleansers before and I’m happy to admit that I have finally found something that my skin loves! The cleanser not only efficiently cleans the face and removes all the dirt, it also provides a glow after regular uses. I have dry-combination skin and a major problem that I face with most of the cleansers is that they are either too drying for my skin or they don’t effectively remove dirt from my pores in the T-zone. This cleanser, however, leaves my skin squeaky clean every time and what I love the most about this cleanser is that it is not at all harsh on the face and doesn’t cause my skin to become dry. It is very functional in removing makeup as well so on my lazy days when I don’t feel like going through the process of removing makeup, I simply use this cleanser and I’m good to go. The product hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts on my skin.

Overall, I am absolutely obsessed with this cleanser. It is one of my holy grails!

This one seems to be a good foam wash for the face. It is slightly out of my budget or I would have tried it for sure :(

I just bought this product 2 days ago. The first day I’m using it, seems okay and I’m impressed. But the second day of me trying it, it starts to irritate mu skin and leave my skin soooooo dry ! I’m so devastated:(
