I am a sucker for skincare products. Make them natural and I just go bonkers over them. There I said it 😛
Innisfree is a Korean brand that has garnered much respect. Surprisingly their line of products is not too expensive. Recently on a shopping spree I came across their capsule recipe packs and bought a whole bunch of them!
The idea is simple. Each capsule recipe pack costs between Rs 100 to 150 and will last 4-5 uses. To be honest that’s enough for me as I get easily bored of the stuff unless it’s really great.

My Experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Pomegranate
So first things first, the packaging. I was expecting that the packaging will be you know one time open one. And thereafter I will have to kind of tape it back.
But the packaging is excellent. It comes with a secure lid that can be tightened back and will prevent the product from spilling or getting contaminated.
Personally I feel this is excellent for travel purposes. In fact, I will clean, dry and keep the packs just for carrying face packs during my travel 😉
This pomegranate mask in gel is of a thick gel consistency. Its purplish rd in color much like grape jelly and has a neutral smell to it.
A little goes a long way. You can easily apply and spread it all over face and neck.
There is no tingling or itching sensation. You feel a gel is applied to face that’s all. As time passes, especially after the 15 minute mark, it started feeling more and stickier.
I was really irritated and just felt like washing it off. Still since it’s a sleeping mask, I persevered.
Finally after an hour and a half I gave up.
Here is what I found; this stuff kind of makes your skin feel tightened. It does not provide any Moisturization. My skin felt dry and stretchy after applying this.
Hence, I will never recommend this as a sleeping mask unless you have oily skin.
Apply it and leave it on for as long as you can tolerate. Wash face and apply a night cream
I am not personally wowed by this product. But if you are like me who likes using different masks on a frequent basis, this concept by Innisfree is great. In say 700 Rs a month you can buy a variety of masks and you as per your requirement and mood.
Mask is average, the concept is great.
