Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree Review

Price- Rs.150 for 10ml

My Experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree

Packaging- This face pack comes in a blackish brown droplet shaped plastic container with a lid of the same shape fitted at the opening. Once you open the cap, you will have to tear a plastic seal to get to the product inside. Since it is just a sample pack, there is just enough product for 2 applications. Overall this is a very travel-friendly compact packaging, you can keep it anywhere in your compact vanity.

Colour & Texture- The pack is actually a light green colored thick paste. Its consistency is similar to a clay face pack but it is a lot smoother with no granules. It gets spread on slightly damp face easily and forms an even layer. I do not do a very thick layer because I do not like to sit for a long time while the pack is drying.

Fragrance- The pack has a very faint tea tree fragrance that takes only a few seconds to vanish without any tress. Then it becomes completely odorless.

Experience- When I bought this face pack I didn’t have any idea about ‘Bija’.  Bija is actually a fruit that grows in an evergreen tree in Jeju Island. This ingredient is great in terms of skin soothing and acne care just as Tea Tree. This face pack is a type of clay masks but a lot smoother. It does not have any gritty particles that most Himalaya Herbals clay masks have. I apply this after cleansing and exfoliation. This one applies very easily and does not irritate the sensitive areas of my face. It dries on the face with little stretchy feel but does not show cracks until too dry. I don’t let the pack get all dry because it gives me itchy feeling. I keep it for 10 minutes as mentioned in the packaging then wash it off with plain water. This one gives my face a thoroughly cleansed look. It absorbs extra oil from the face, the redness due to pimples reduces a bit and the zits shrink to some extent. The effect lasts for 3 days then I need another dose of exfoliation as usual. The effect if this pack is good but I have had such experience with many budget-friendly Indian brands. Plus the ingredient list was not all herbal; there are alcoholic ingredients in the formula.
