Inglot Lipstick 140 | Swatches | Perfect Plummy Pink ?

by Nikhita Ferreira

So today, I’m going back to talking about my favorite product, ever. Lipstick. I haven’t spoken much about Inglot as a brand and I don’t know why. The brand has some beautiful products and I use quite a few of them on a regular basis. A while ago, I purchased an Inglot lipstick for a friend who knows nothing about makeup. She very rarely uses any makeup and so I decided to get her a lipstick and hoped that she would use it. Sadly though, she wasn’t using it at all. And so, being the amazing friend that I am, I took it back and started using it myself. Before this too, I’ve used Inglot lipsticks and I’ve used them on clients too. The formulations are really good and pricing is amazing. So today, I’m going to talk about the Inglot Lipstick 140.

My experience with the Inglot Lipstick 140

So Inglot isn’t a drugstore brand..you could categorize it as a high-end brand. But, it’s still really reasonable compared to other brands. So, when you’re buying a high-end brand, you expect the product and packaging to look good. Not that its a deciding factor, but it’s a bonus. The lipstick bullet comes in a metal black case that looks oh-so-sleek. I totally love it. When I swatched the shade at the Inglot store, I loved the shade. The texture is creamy and smooth and glides on to the lips beautifully thanks to the formula that’s infused with Vitamin E and kernel oil. The shade is like a fuschia pink and I love all things bright. The color pay off is lovely, one swipe of it is enough for the color to come through. The product has a nice fragrance to it, something I don’t know how to explain.

The #140 lasts for quite a while. I wore it for about four hours and didn’t require a touch up at all. If you do want to wear it longer though, I think a touch up might be needed since it’s a creamy formula. Now, I know that the brand claims that it’s a matte product and it does mattify a bit. But, it still leaves this slight glossiness on your lips, which is perfect. Just how I like it.
