What Does The Brand Claim
Himalaya’s FootCare Cream cares for your cracked heels and rough feet with natural ingredients. Enriched with the goodness of Honey, Turmeric, Fenugreek seeds and Sal Tree extract, this cream leaves your feet feeling soft in one week.
How To Use
Wash feet with lukewarm water and pat dry. Apply the required quantity of FootCare Cream over the affected area twice daily, once in the morning and again at bedtime.
Honey, with its bactericidal and antiseptic properties, is extremely important in Ayurveda. Used in a variety of medicines, honey is also an effective moisturizing agent.
Turmeric has been used as an antiseptic for centuries. The herb also contains strong anti-inflammatory properties, which soothe your feet gently.
Sal Tree extract is used as an ingredient in ointments for skin diseases and in-ear medicines. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties help heal cracked heels.
Ginger is used externally as a local circulatory stimulant which keeps the feet warm, preventing the skin from cracking due to the cold.
Fenugreek has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicines and is an excellent moisturizer, specially formulated to hydrate dry skin. Applied externally, the herb is also beneficial for boils, abscesses, and ulcers.
My Experience With Himalaya Wellness Foot Care Cream
Packaging- The foot cream comes in a tube which is hygienic as you don’t need to dip your hands into it and squeeze out the required amount. The tube has a screw on cap which closes nicely and you can easily keep it in your travel kit.
Texture and Consistency- The foot cream is quite dense but it feels light on application and gets absorbed pretty soon.
Fragrance- You can get a whiff of that herbal smell from this foot cream which I don’t mind at all. The Fragrance isn’t strong at all.
Experience- The foot cream is light beige in color which is pretty dense- no hint of watery texture in it. Though the texture of the cream is dense yet on massaging it gets absorbed easily and doesn’t need much efforts to make it sink into your skin. When I started using this I had some slight cracks appearing on my heels which I detested so the first thing I did was order a foot cream and somehow this was the first one I came across so I just plunked it in my shopping cart and boy I have been so happy with my thoughtless purchase 🙂
I started using the foot cream religiously two times a day and started wearing socks on top of it to retain the hydration which worked pretty well for me. The cream gave a faint herbal smell which never stayed on for longer than an hour or so.
Hardly within 3 days of usage, my feet felt a lot softer and the cracks started filling up which was impressive. 10 days of continuous use and yes one couldn’t make out the cracks anymore so I would say it did an amazing job at healing the worn and torn skin and restored the moisture back which made my feet feel a lot softer. I would also suggest this for summers because it doesn’t make your feet as hot and sweaty and thus perfect for even the humid days! What else could you ask for at this price?
