My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Soothing Body Lotion

Packaging

The packaging is very strong, spill-proof and travel-friendly.

Texture & Consistency

The body moisturizer is white in color and it has a medium consistency. The texture is very convenient to spread over the skin, not greasy at all and it gets absorbed fast. I like my lotions to have these three qualities so I am very happy with the consistency of this one.

Fragrance

This lotion has powdery-floral type fragrance. The fragrance is not very loud so it is certainly not going to cause a headache. Although the smell becomes faint after a few minutes of application, the staying power of this fragrance is 30-45 minutes maximum in my case.

Effectiveness

I like to apply my body lotion two times a day; once after a bath in the morning and after a brief shower at night. I am using Ayur SPF 15 Sunscreen in the morning and this one at night. The application is fuss-free because of the spreadable consistency and non-greasy texture. It is not something that needs vigorous rubbing in the name of the application. This one becomes a savior when I am not in the mood of slathering a body moisturizer properly or just feeling sleepy after a long day.

Overall Performance of Himalaya Herbals Soothing Body Lotion

Himalaya Herbals Soothing Body Lotion moisturizes my dry body skin and makes my skin softer. It prevents flakiness and keeps my skin hydrated in this monsoon season. The formula is not very heavy and is quick absorbing. That makes me say it will prove to be a nice body moisturizer for normal to dry skin in the warmer months and oily to normal skin for the colder months of the year; it may not be sufficient for winter extremities for the dry skin.

I would recommend Himalaya Herbals Soothing Body Lotion to anyone with normal to dry skin who want a budget friendly floral fragranced body lotion for everyday skin care. I do not think I am going to repurchase this one sooner because I am not a great fan of powdery fragrances and there are many other body lotions there in the market currently with similar performance.
