What is it? Himalaya Purifying Neem Peel-Off Mask is enriched with Neem and Turmeric. This herbal combination is well-known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This mask promises to reduce oiliness, prevent pimples and lighten pimple marks. The skin would be left clear and healthy.

My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel-Off Mask

Packaging-

This mask comes in a white plastic tube with green flip-top cap. The packaging is very sturdy; I have already dropped it a few times and the plastic cap did not break. The getup of this product packaging is quite similar to the Neem scrub and pack. The label graphics and the informative details are different. I love how the brand has provided the pictorial representation of the product’s effectiveness.

Colour & Texture-

The mask is actually a light green colored gooey liquid of medium density. It gets spread very easily and forms an even layer. But, the mask may give you patchy finish if you try to put some more product over a half-dried layer. This thing happens with each one of the peel-off masks and it’s not a con.

Fragrance-

This product has light ‘herbal’ type smell. The fragrance is very similar to the Neem face wash and scrub. There is a mild alcohol smell in the fragrance due to the presence of alcohols in the base but thankfully this alcohol smell goes off within few seconds of application.

Experience-

I have used Everyuth’s famous Golden Glow Peel off the mask before. So, I had a faint idea of what to expect from this mask. I generally apply this mask after cleansing and exfoliating. I like to build a medium thick layer of the mask; thin layer hurts the tiny baby hairs off my face. I keep this mask for about 15 minutes or until it dries completely. This mask peels off easily and that too without hurting too much. I could notice a subtle glow on my face resulted from the exfoliation and this deep cleansing mask. Himalaya’s original neem pack used to give me burning sensations but this one does not give that. My skin is not allergic to alcohols and they act as pore tightener so the larger pores of my face appear smaller temporarily. The glow is also temporary. The skin does not feel stretchy after application and this product does not cause acne breakouts on my skin. But there is no reduction in pimples or their marks so far. I think this mask is best used before a big event to bring some extra glow to the face.

  2. Works for every type of skin
  3. Does not dry out the skin & gives a healthy glow
  4. Temporary pore tightening
  5. Easily available and sturdy packaging
Cons-
  1. Contains alcohol

  3. Does not work on pimples or their marks as promised
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel-Off Mask felt like an average peel-off mask to me. There was a healthy glow in my skin afterwards but it is the thing that every facial mask gives. So, I am not going to repurchase this one. I will suggest this mask to anyone who is searching for a decent quality budget peel-off mask. If you decide to skip it, you won’t be missing much!

Thanks a lot :love
It is a good peel off mask for an instant glow. You may try this but I don’t think it will reduce any marks or pimples..

The best is use neem or Turmeric or sandalwood directly. Honest review girl

Thanks Smriti :-)
My skin doesn’t have any problem with direct application of Sandalwood and Turmeric but Neem is too strong. It gives me irritations. I have to dilute Neem paste in some oils.
