Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Conditioner Review

by Muskaan Soni

Hello, ladies today I’ll be reviewing Himalaya damage repair protein conditioner. With winters here, we tend to wash our hair with steamy hot water, which damages the hair. A lot of damage to the hair is caused by our styling habits too, so its necessary to have something that can take care of your hair.

Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Conditioner

Price: Rs 130 for 200 ml

My experience with Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Conditioner

Packaging:

the bottle is an upside down bottle, white in color. This is the standard pattern we see in conditioner bottles. It’s made of plastic and seems travel-friendly.

Colour and texture:

it is white in color and not too thick in consistency.

Fragrance:

the fragrance is absolutely lovely. It smells herbal and mild. I find the fragrance very refreshing.

What does it claim?

Himalaya damage repair protein conditioner is a gentle formulation enriched with extracts of protein-rich herbs that provide necessary nourishment to hair leaving it silky, soft, smooth and healthy. Our conditioner is specially formulated with herbal ingredients that provide intensive conditioning for dry, frizzy or damaged hair. It gently repairs, strengthens and protects it from further damage, keeping it healthy and soft.

Aloe Vera effectively moisturizes hair. Yarrow naturally conditions the hair. Chickpea and bean sprout are rich sources of natural protein that provide nourishment to hair.

My experience: the shampoo definitely provides nourishment to hair. I have been using it for the past month and I don’t think it repairs the already damaged hair. It definitely maintains the smoothness and health of your hair, leaving it smelling brilliant. In my opinion, it is a light conditioner, and not the best choice if you need heavy conditioning.

Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Conditioner 2

Pros:
  1. Affordable
  2. Smells wonderful
  3. Travel-friendly
  4. Keeps hair healthy
  5. Easy to apply
  6. Not too thick in consistency.
Cons:
  1. Doesn’t repair already damaged hair.
  2. Light in nourishment
Recommendation?

A  yes if light conditioning works for you, I have dry hair so it’s not really my preferable choice. It’s a good choice for those who need light conditioning.

I had bought this conditioner once and my thought were just same as you on this. It lacked the intense moisturization I want for my dry hair.

I might give it a try as my hair is not dry and damage but I still think they can use a bit of moisturization.
