H2o + Milk Body Butter – Overrated ?

by Sone

Who is it for? H2o + Milk Body Butter is for those who are looking for a mid and soft fragranced body butter/lotions.I read pretty good things about it so I was so eager to try this.

H2o + Milk Body Butter

Price:

$22for 8 Oz

How to Use:

After bathing, apply daily to the body, paying special attention to dry areas like knees and elbows.

My Experience with H2o + Milk Body Butter

Packaging: This body lotion/butter comes in a tube packaging.

Consistency: This product has a soft butter/thick lotion consistency. It spreads easily and gets absorbed easily without leaving a greasy layer.

Moisturization: It is a good moisturizer but only for the oily/normal skin. Not enough for dry skin. For dry skin, you must go for thicker body butter. The even body shop body butter is cheaper than this product, so take your wise call  :)

Fragrance: The scent, I have heard truckloads about the scent. That might be the primary reason I was majorly disappointed. The scent is like mild baby powder with some typical ponds cream scent added to it.

Staying Power: Fragrance is nice but not crazy great. It does not linger very long.

So what surprises me, why would we spend THIS much on a product that smells and works so ordinary?

What did I like?

  • Smells nice
  • Moisturizes skin decently
  • Free from parabens

What did I not Like?

  • The scent does not linger for long
  • Not value for money

Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?

I will be honest, this product is overrated. Yes, it’s a decent product, but the scent is very mild. But you know how pricey this is, you can get a MUCH better product for the same price. Buy only on discount.

love that sleek, simple packaging. But not a product to invest on. Amazing review and beautiful clicks mam… :love :rose:
